Disordered Materials

The Disordered Materials section deals with the fundamental understanding and innovation of glasses, glass fibers, disordered crystals, and other types of disordered materials. The section provides knowledge for developing new generation of advanced disordered materials and related technologies, e.g., for energy storage, saving and generation. Furthermore, our research involves the fundamental understanding of glasses, glass-ceramics, supercooled liquids, and disordered crystalline materials using state-of-the-art experimental and computational techniques.
